I was born on March 12, 1967 in Bucharest - at that time the capital of the Socialist Republic of Romania - one of the many cities full of contrasts in the world.

In 1989 - the year of the collapse of the communist system in Romania - I was in my 3rd year at the Ion Mincu Institute of Architecture in Bucharest, from which I graduated 3 years later, in 1992.

Between 1992 and 1998 I worked as an employee and on my own account in the field of architecture. It was a period when I discovered with sadness how difficult it was to access important projects without equally important relationships.

​

At the same time, as a kind of compensation, between 1996 and 1998 I worked for almost 2 wonderful years as a university assistant at the Ion Mincu Institute of Architecture.

​

In 1999 I was hired as an art director at Stage Expert - a company that supplies professional sound, light and video systems. I became the director of the video department and stayed in this position until 2013.

​

It was a period in which I gained experience in the field of video editing and basic knowledge of VFX.

​

Between 2014 and 2015 I worked as an art director at Cool Promotions, an advertising production company that gave me the satisfaction of seeing my designs translated into reality.

​

At the same time, I started working in the field of film production design - a difficult but fascinating field due to its same close connection with reality. I started as a production designer's assistant and continued as a construction coordinator, art director and commercials production designer.

​

In 2018 and 2019 I collaborated with Castel Film Studios as a construction coordinator and art director.

​

I currently work as a freelancer in both design and production design fields.
